Momentum and excitement are building ahead of one of the biggest events in the racing calender, namely the Northwest Racing Masters, which will be held at Haydock Park Racecourse on 22nd November and Aintree Racecourse on 23rd November.
This event hosts the Betfair Chase which is only one of three 'Grade 1' steeplechases over three miles or more in Britain.

Haydock Park is the North West's premier dual purpose racecourse located half way between Liverpool and Manchester, just off junction 23 of the M6 motorway. Haydock Park is one mile from the M6 jct 23, giving easy access throughout the North West on the M6, M56, M61, M62, M58 & the A580 road linking Manchester & Liverpool.
By Rail
The nearest station to Haydock Park Racecourse is Newton-le-Willows on the Manchester (Piccadilly) to Liverpool (Lime Street) line. On the main London / Glasgow line the nearest stations are Warrington & Wigan - both approximately
8 miles from the racecourse.

By Bus
Visitors can travel to the racecourse by bus using the following services; the 620 (Ashton to Haydock), the 320 (St. Helens to Wigan). For journey times ring 0870 608 2608.
Haydock Xpress
The Haydock Park Xpress is a direct bus link from Newton-le-Willows Merseyrail station to Haydock Park Racecourse. This service will cost £2.50 for a single journey and operates from two hours before the first race to one hour after the last race on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the year. (Journey costs could be subject to change).
