The World Firefighter Games come to the new Echo Arena Liverpool, which is transformed into an Olympic-style hub for this thrilling event. Get set for real action-hero stuff as the Toughest Firefighter Alive competition tests the stamina and strength of competitors to the very extreme.
TOUR OF BRITAIN FINALE

Liverpool will stage the Tour of Britain's showpiece finale event in 2008. The national cycle race has traditionally ended in London but Liverpool will take the honours to coincide with the city being awarded the title of European Capital of Culture.
