Become an 08 Ambassador

The 08 Ambassador Programme has been created to engage all those people who love Liverpool and want to support the city's efforts to make the most of its position as European Capital of Culture 2008.

Liverpool 08 wants your assistance to help tell the world about the great strides the city is making and why Liverpool will be the best-ever European Capital of Culture.

Ambassadors from all walks of life are being signed up. The only thing required is a passion for Liverpool and a willingness to let everybody know how much you are behind what the city is trying to do in the lead-up to 2008.

Your commitment simply involves providing a short statement about why you love Liverpool and why you're supporting Liverpool 08 along with a photograph that can be used in promotional efforts carried out by the Liverpool Culture Company, for example, for use here on the Liverpool 08 website www.liverpool08.com. (Please note it's not mandatory to provide a photograph).

If the Liverpool Culture Company wants to use your statements, or photograph in any other way they will ask your permission.

Once signed up, you will receive an Ambassador Welcome pack and badge. You will also be kept posted about what's happening in Liverpool and in particular the European Capital of Culture programme via regular e-newsletters. Regular features will also appear in the Liverpool Echo.
