Know as the people's dish for Liverpool -the New Dish for Liverpool challenged chefs and budding chefs to create something which reflected the spirit of the city in this Capital of Culture year.

For the Plate for 08 competition we want YOUR recipes, to discover what you think should be the city's signature dish.
This is not about replacing Scouse but it is a chance to celebrate everything that is great in the North West, especially as we go forward from 2008, the Capital of Culture year.
